Abstract
One embodiment provides a method, including: connecting, using a network connection device of an information handling device, to a network; identifying, using a processor, a connection type of the network; identifying, using a processor, at least one characteristic of an application accessible by the information handling device; and modifying, based upon the connection type and at least one characteristic of an application, accessibility of the application. Other aspects are described and claimed.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- connecting, using a network connection device of an information handling device, to a network;
- identifying, using a processor, a connection type of the network;
- identifying, using a processor, at least one characteristic of an application accessible by the information handling device;
- and
- modifying, based upon the connection type and at least one characteristic of an application, accessibility of the application.
An information handling device, comprising:
- a network connection device;
- a processor operatively coupled to the network connection device;
- a memory device that stores instructions executable by the processor to:
- connect, using the network connection device, to a network;
- identify a connection type of the network;
- identify at least one characteristic of an application accessible by the information handling device;
- and
- modify, based upon the connection type and at least one characteristic of an application, accessibility of the application.
A product, comprising:
- a storage device that stores code, the code being executable by a processor and comprising:
- code that connects, using a network connection device of an information handling device, to a network;
- code that identifies a connection type of the network;
- code that identifies at least one characteristic of an application accessible by the information handling device;
- and
- code that modifies, based upon the connection type and at least one characteristic of an application, accessibility of the application.
