Transmission Method for Common Message and Device

A terminal equipment, comprising:

• a processor configured to determine common message transmission time instances corresponding to the terminal equipment according to a common message transmission period corresponding to the terminal equipment and a start time instance of the common message transmission time instances corresponding to the terminal equipment, wherein the common message transmission time instances corresponding to the terminal equipment are a part of time instances of cell common message transmission time instances, wherein the common message transmission period corresponding to the terminal equipment is larger than a cell common message transmission period;
• and
• a receiver coupled to the processor and configured to receive a common message from a base station at the common message transmission time instances corresponding to the terminal equipment,
• wherein a bandwidth of frequency resources used for sending the common message by the base station is no larger than a data processing bandwidth that the terminal equipment is capable of supporting.

A transmission method for a common message, comprising:

• determining, by a terminal device, common message transmission time instances corresponding to the terminal device according to a common message transmission period corresponding to the terminal device and a start time instance of the common message transmission time instances corresponding to the terminal device, wherein the common message transmission time instances corresponding to the terminal device are a part of time instances of cell common message transmission time instances, wherein the common message transmission period corresponding to the terminal device is larger than a cell common message transmission period;
• and
• receiving, by the terminal device, a common message from a base station at the determined common message transmission time instances corresponding to the terminal device, and
• wherein a bandwidth of frequency resources used for sending the common message by the base station is no larger than a data processing bandwidth that the terminal device is capable of supporting.
