Abstract
A tire including a sidewall, wherein the sidewall may include an upper sidewall. The upper sidewall may include a plurality of extruded, angled blocks proximate an outer edge of the tire. The tire may include a plurality of shoulder blocks. The plurality of shoulder blocks may be at the outer edge of the tire on a shoulder.
Claims20
A tire comprising:
- a sidewall including an upper sidewall, wherein the upper sidewall includes a plurality of extruded, angled blocks proximate an outer edge of the tire;
- and
- a plurality of shoulder blocks, wherein the plurality of shoulder blocks are at the outer edge of the tire on a shoulder.
A tire comprising:
- a sidewall including an upper sidewall, wherein the upper sidewall includes a plurality of extruded, angled blocks proximate an outer edge of the tire;
- and
- a plurality of shoulder blocks, wherein the plurality of shoulder blocks are at the outer edge of the tire on a shoulder, wherein the plurality of shoulder blocks includes a plurality of first block types, wherein the plurality of shoulder blocks includes a plurality of second block types, and wherein the plurality of shoulder blocks includes an alternating pattern using the plurality of first block types and the plurality of second block types.
