Abstract
A method and system to transfer assets between interactive social games is described. In some embodiments, the method generates a visual expression of a transfer mechanism in a first computer-implemented game. The method further generates the visual expression of the transfer mechanism in a second computer-implemented game. The transfer mechanism is capable of transferring an in-game asset from the first computer-implemented game to the second computer-implemented game. The method transfers the in-game asset from the first computer-implemented game to the second computer-implemented game using the transfer mechanism.
Claims21
(canceled)
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- in response to determining that a first user account, associated with a first mobile device, has reached a game metric in a first online game:
- identifying in a game asset inventory, of a second online game being played by a second user account, at least one in-game asset that corresponds with more game features in the first online game than game features in the second online game, the second user account associated with a second mobile device, the first and the second online game provided by an online game server;
- generating first transfer graphics data representative of a transfer mechanism delivering the at least one in-game asset to the first online game when the first user account is logged into a session of the first online game via the first mobile device;
- and
- generating second transfer graphics data representative of a transfer mechanism removing the at least one in-game asset to from the second online game when the second user account is logged into a session of the second online game via the second mobile device.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing executable instructions thereon, which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations including:
- in response to determining that a first user account, associated with a first mobile device, has reached a game metric in a first online game:
- identifying in a game asset inventory, of a second online game being played by a second user account, at least one in-game asset that corresponds with more game features in the first online game than game features in the second online game, the second user account associated with a second mobile device, the first and the second online game provided by an online game server;
- generating first transfer graphics data representative of a transfer mechanism delivering the at least one in-game asset to the first online game when the first user account is logged into a session of the first online game via the first mobile device;
- and
- generating second transfer graphics data representative of a transfer mechanism removing the at least one in-game asset to from the second online game when the second user account is logged into a session of the second online game via the second mobile device.
A computer system comprising:
- a processor;
- a memory device holding an instruction set executable on the processor to cause the computer system to perform operations comprising:
- in response to determining that a first user account, associated with a first mobile device, has reached a game metric in a first online game:
- identifying in a game asset inventory, of a second online game being played by a second user account, at least one in-game asset that corresponds with more game features in the first online game than game features in the second online game, the second user account associated with a second mobile device, the first and the second online game provided by an online game server;
- generating first transfer graphics data representative of a transfer mechanism delivering the at least one in-game asset to the first online game when the first user account is logged into a session of the first online game via the first mobile device;
- and
- generating second transfer graphics data representative of a transfer mechanism removing the at least one in-game asset to from the second online game when the second user account is logged into a session of the second online game via the second mobile device.
