Abstract
The present invention relates to use of very low dose lithium for primary and secondary prevention of dementia-related disorders and suicide.

A method of treating and/or preventing dementia in a subject suffering from, or at risk of suffering from, dementia, comprising:
- determining the subject is suffering from, or at risk of suffering, from dementia;
- and
- administering to the subject a very low dose of lithium, or a salt thereof.
