Abstract
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a dispersion of acrylic polymer particles, a semi-crystalline polymer and an organic solvent. The compositions of the present invention may optionally contain at least one colorant. The invention also relates to a method for making up and/or enhancing the appearance of a keratinous substrate, in particular lashes, by applying these compositions to the keratinous substrate.
Claims14
A cosmetic composition comprising:
- at least one dispersion of acrylic polymer particles;
- at least one semi-crystalline polymer;
- and
- at least one organic solvent;
- wherein the ratio of at least one dispersion of acrylic polymer particles to the at least one semi-crystalline polymer is from about 4:10 to about 2.5:20, by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition.

A method of making a mascara composition comprising combining:
- from about 0.5% to about 50% of at least one dispersion of acrylic polymer particles;
- from about 0.1% to about 20% of at least one semi-crystalline polymer;
- from about 4% to about 99% of at least one organic solvent;
- and
- from about 5% to about 15% of at least one pigment.
