Abstract
A sensor insertion assembly includes: a sensor insertion device comprising a needle member configured to be inserted in a living body together with a biological information sensor and to be pulled out of the living body after leaving a distal end side of the sensor in the living body; and a base plate detachably attached to a first end side of the sensor insertion device, the base plate comprising a clamp portion configured to move so as to clamp a proximal end side of the sensor extending to an outside of the living body after pulling out the needle member and along with an operation of detaching the sensor insertion device from the base plate.

A sensor insertion assembly comprising:
- a sensor insertion device comprising a needle member configured to be inserted in a living body together with a biological information sensor and to be pulled out of the living body after leaving a distal end side of the sensor in the living body;
- and
- a base plate detachably attached to a first end side of the sensor insertion device, the base plate comprising a clamp portion configured to move so as to clamp a proximal end side of the sensor extending to an outside of the living body after pulling out the needle member and along with an operation of detaching the sensor insertion device from the base plate.
A base plate configured to be detachably attached to a sensor insertion device that comprises a needle member configured to be inserted in a living body together with a biological information sensor and to be pulled out of the living body after leaving a distal end side of the sensor in the living body, the base plate comprising:
- a clamp portion configured to move so as to clamp a proximal end side of the sensor extending to an outside of the living body after pulling out the needle member and along with an operation of rotating the base plate with respect to the sensor insertion device in a state of being attached to the sensor insertion device.
A sensor insertion assembly comprising:
- a sensor insertion device comprising:
- a needle member configured to be inserted in a living body together with a biological information sensor and to be pulled out of the living body after leaving a distal end side of the sensor in the living body,
- a bottom plate portion,
- a joint hole extending in a circumferential direction, and
- a cam that projects from a lower surface of the bottom plate portion;
- and
- a base plate detachably attached to a first end side of the sensor insertion device, the base plate comprising:
- a joint portion projecting from an upper surface of the base plate, and
- first and second leaf springs configured to clamp the proximal end side of the sensor,
- wherein the sensor insertion device is rotatable with respect to the base plate between:
- (i) a first position, at which the joint portion is engaged with the joint hole such that the sensor insertion device is attached to the base plate, and the cam separates the leaf springs such that the leaf springs do not clamp a proximal end side of the sensor, and
- (ii) a second position, at which the joint portion is removable from the joint hole such that the sensor insertion device is detachable from the base plate, and the cam does not separate the leaf springs such that the leaf springs clamp the proximal end side of the sensor.
A base plate configured to be detachably attached to a sensor insertion device that comprises a needle member configured to be inserted in a living body together with a biological information sensor and to be pulled out of the living body after leaving a distal end side of the sensor in the living body, the base plate comprising:
- a joint portion projecting from an upper surface of the base plate, and
- first and second leaf springs configured to clamp the proximal end side of the sensor,
- wherein the base plate is configured to be rotated with respect to the sensor insertion device between:
- (i) a first position, at which the joint portion is engaged with a joint hole of the sensor insertion device such that the sensor insertion device is attached to the base plate, and a cam of the sensor insertion device separates the leaf springs such that the leaf springs do not clamp a proximal end side of the sensor, and
- (ii) a second position, at which the joint portion is removable from the joint hole such that the sensor insertion device is detachable from the base plate, and the cam does not separate the leaf springs such that the leaf springs clamp the proximal end side of the sensor.
