Abstract
A system for retaining at least one plastic grocery bag within a motor vehicle includes a handle and a rail assembly. The handle defines an opening for receiving the at least one plastic grocery bag. The handle includes first and second flanges compressible toward one another. The rail assembly is mountable within the motor vehicle and includes a rail defining a longitudinally extending cavity. A front surface of the rail defines a gap running along at least a portion of an axial length of the rail and includes an open end and a closed end.

A system for retaining at least one plastic grocery bag within a motor vehicle, the system comprising:
- a handle defining an opening for receiving the at least one plastic grocery bag, the handle having first and second flanges compressible toward one another;
- and
- a rail assembly for mounting within the motor vehicle, the rail assembly including a rail defining a longitudinally extending cavity, a front surface of the rail defining a gap running along a least a portion of an axial length of the rail and including an open end and a closed end.
