Abstract
In an example implementation, a method of providing image registration information in a digital printing press includes imaging a printed page on an impression drum of a digital printing press, determining image registration information from printed content on the page, and displaying a graphical visualization of the image registration information on a user interface screen of the digital printing press.
Claims15
A method of providing image registration information in a digital printing press comprising:
- imaging a printed page on an impression drum of a digital printing press;
- determining image registration information from printed content on the page;
- and
- displaying a graphical visualization of the image registration information on a user interface screen of the digital printing press.
A digital printing press comprising:
- a user interface screen;
- an imaging device to image a printed page as the printed page travels on an impression drum of the printing press;
- a measurement module to determine from the imaged page, registration information from target points on the printed page;
- and
- a visualization module to display the registration information in graphical form on the user interface screen.
A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions that when executed by a processor of a printing device, cause the printing device to:
- print a print job image on a page;
- print target registration points on the page;
- measure distances between edges of the page and the target registration points to determine image registration information;
- display the image registration information in a visualized graphical form on a user interface screen of the printing device in real-time.
