Abstract
A method and system may allow for adjusting network latency experienced by a user. A first computing device may send a request to adjust the latency experienced by a terminal associated with a user. The request may be received at a second computing device which may identify a buffer size for to the terminal associated with the user. A new buffer size may be determined and adjusted for the identified buffer based on the received request.

A method comprising:
- receiving, by a computing device associated with a plurality of buffers, a communication that comprises identification information for a user device and a first identification of an application executing on the user device;
- identifying, based at least on the identification information for the user device, a first buffer of the plurality of buffers, wherein the first buffer is associated with the identification information for the user device, and wherein the first buffer is configured to store data to be sent to the user device or data received from the user device;
- determining a buffer size for the first buffer at least partially based on the first identification of the application executing on the user device;
- and
- adjusting a current size of the first buffer based on the determined buffer size.

An apparatus comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- receive a communication that comprises identification information for a user device and a first identification of an application executing on the user device;
- identify, based at least on the identification information for the user device, a first buffer of a plurality of buffers, wherein the first buffer is associated with the identification information for the user device, and wherein the first buffer is configured to store data to be sent to the user device or data received from the user device;
- determine a buffer size for the first buffer at least partially based on the first identification of the application executing on the user device;
- and
- adjust a current size of the first buffer based on the determined buffer size.

A apparatus comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- receive a communication that comprises identification information for a user device and a connection preference associated with a change in latency mode for the user device;
- identify, based at least on the identification information for the user device, a buffer of a plurality of buffers, wherein the buffer is associated with the identification information for the user device, and wherein the buffer is configured to store data to be sent to the user device or data received from the user device;
- determine a buffer size for the buffer at least partially based on the connection preference;
- and
- adjust a size of the buffer based on the determined buffer size.

A method comprising:
- receiving, by a computing device associated with a plurality of buffers, a communication that comprises identification information for a user device and a connection preference associated with a change in latency mode for the user device;
- identifying, based at least on the identification information for the user device, a buffer of the plurality of buffers, wherein the buffer is associated with the identification information for the user device, and wherein the buffer is configured to store data to be sent to the user device or data received from the user device;
