Also described are lyophilized compositions of antibodies and carrier proteins and methods of making and using the same, in particular, as a cancer therapeutic.
Claims34
A lyophilized nanoparticle composition comprising nanoparticles having an outer surface, wherein each of the nanoparticles comprises:
- a) a carrier protein;
- b) between about 100 to about 1000 binding agents having a hydrophobic portion and an antigen-binding portion;
- and
- c) optionally at least one therapeutic agent;
- said nanoparticles being lyophilized, and wherein upon reconstitution with an aqueous solution the antigen-binding portion of said binding agents are arranged on the outside surface of the nanoparticles and are capable of binding to a target in vivo and wherein the hydrophobic portion is associated with said carrier protein and wherein the binding agent is not bevacizumab, rituximab or herceptin.
A lyophilized nanoparticle composition comprising nanoparticles having an outer surface, wherein each of the nanoparticles comprises:
- a) a carrier protein;
- b) between about 100 to about 1000 antibodies having a hydrophobic portion and an antigen-binding portion;
- and
- c) optionally at least one therapeutic agent;
- said nanoparticles being lyophilized, and wherein upon reconstitution with an aqueous solution the antigen-binding portion of said antibodies are arranged on the outside surface of the nanoparticles and are capable of binding to CD20 in vivo and the hydrophobic portion is associated with said carrier protein and wherein the binding agent is not rituximab.
A lyophilized nanoparticle composition comprising nanoparticles having an outer surface, wherein each of the nanoparticles comprises:
- a) a carrier protein;
- b) between about 100 to about 1000 binding agents having a hydrophobic portion and an antigen-binding portion;
- and
- c) optionally at least one therapeutic agent;
- said nanoparticles being lyophilized, and wherein upon reconstitution with an aqueous solution the antigen-binding portion of said antibodies are arranged on the outside surface of the nanoparticles and are capable of binding to HER2 in vivo and the hydrophobic portion is associated with said carrier protein and wherein the binding agent is not trastuzumab.
