A dual oxidase activator comprising pyrroloquinoline quinone and/or a derivative of the pyrroloquinoline quinone.
A pyrroloquinoline quinone or derivative thereof represented by general formula (1), (2), or (3) or a salt thereof:
- wherein each R independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and R′ represents a substituent having 1 to 10 carbon atoms.
