Vehicle steering control display device

A computer-implemented method comprising:

• detecting a driver's hand position on a vehicle steering wheel, the steering wheel positioned in front of a dashboard having controls mounted therein;
• determining the driver's eye position using one or more cameras;
• determining an obstructed dashboard control, wherein a view of the obstructed dashboard control to the driver is obstructed, based, at least in part, on the driver's hand position and the driver's eye position;
• and
• displaying the obstructed dashboard control on a flexible display attached to the steering wheel.

A computer program product comprising:

• one or more computer readable storage media and program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage media, the program instructions comprising:
• program instructions to detect a driver's hand position on a vehicle steering wheel, the steering wheel positioned in front of a dashboard having controls mounted therein;
• program instructions to determine the driver's eye position using one or more cameras;
• program instructions to determine an obstructed dashboard control, wherein a view of the obstructed dashboard control to the driver is obstructed, based, at least in part, on the driver's hand position and the driver's eye position;
• and
• program instructions to display the obstructed dashboard control on a flexible display attached to the steering wheel.
