Abstract
An apparatus and method for the organization of keys using sheets of thin, durable material that have storage pockets for keys and labels with key identification information. The key organization apparatus organizes keys in one physical place by labeling pockets for keys and is easily transportable and stored. The key organization apparatus greatly eases the transition of transferring a set of keys from one person to another, such as a buyer and seller of a house or business.
Claims16
An apparatus for the organization of keys, comprising:
- At least one sheet with a plurality of pockets for containing at least one dwelling key per pocket;
- and
- At least one label for each pocket.
A key organization method comprising:
- gather one or more keys to one or more access points;
- verify each of the one or more keys opens each of the one or more access points;
- labeling key uses for the one or more keys to be organized;
- and
- inserting the one or more keys in the pocket corresponding to the correct label.
