Abstract
An apparatus having a gesture sensor is provided. The gesture sensor includes an image sensing unit and a processing unit. The image sensing unit can capture at least a gesture image of user. The processing unit is electrically connected to the image sensing unit. The processing unit can send at least a control command according to the gesture image to operate the apparatus.

An apparatus having a gesture sensor, wherein the apparatus is a satellite navigation apparatus and comprises:
- a display device;
- a controller electrically connected to the display device so that map information and coordinate information are transmitted to and displayed on the display device;
- and
- the gesture sensor including;
- an image sensing unit for capturing at least a gesture image performed by a user;
- and
- a processing unit electrically connected to the image sensing unit, wherein a signal link is established between the processing unit and the controller so that the processing unit transmits at least a gesture control signal to the controller according to the gesture image, and the controller controls the display device to switch between different display modes for displaying the map information and the coordinate information according to the gesture control signal.

An apparatus having a gesture sensor, wherein the apparatus is a golf training apparatus and comprises:
- an instructing device;
- and
- the gesture sensor including:
- an image sensing unit capable of capturing at least a user's image which shows a side view of a user during the user practicing golf with a practice device, wherein the user's image includes at least one hand image and at least one leg image, the processing unit defines a first axial line and a second axial line respectively according to the hand image and the leg image, and the first axial line and the second axial line form an angle;
- and
- a processing unit electrically connected to the image sensing unit and the instructing device, wherein the processing unit is capable of determining whether the angle falls within a predetermined range;
- when the angle falls out of the predetermined ranges, the processing unit sends an instructing signal to the instructing device to inform the user.
