1-19. (canceled)
A stapling system for use with a surgical robot, wherein said stapling system comprises:
- a housing, comprising:
- an attachment portion configured to be mounted to the surgical robot;
- and
- a plurality of rotary drive members configured to transmit rotary motions from the surgical robot;
- an elongate shaft extending from said housing;
- an end effector extending from said elongate shaft, wherein said end effector comprises:
- a first jaw;
- a second jaw, wherein said first jaw is movable relative to said second jaw between an open position and a closed position;
- a removable staple cartridge comprising a plurality of staples removably stored therein, wherein said staples are ejectable during a staple firing stroke;
- and
- a drive screw configured to rotate in response to a said rotary motion;
- an articulation joint, wherein said end effector is articulatable relative to said elongate shaft about said articulation joint;
- a first closure system configured to actuate a cable in response to a said rotary motion, wherein said cable is configured to move said first jaw toward said closed position when actuated, and wherein said cable is configurable to be actuated a plurality of times;
- a second closure system comprising a coupling member, wherein said coupling member is operably attached to said drive screw, wherein said coupling member is configured to move said first jaw toward said closed position when actuated, and wherein said second closure system is configurable to be actuated a plurality of times;
- and
- a camming member configured to eject said plurality of staples from said staple cartridge when said camming member is moved in a distal direction, wherein said camming member is not retractable proximally after said staple firing stroke.

A surgical system for use with a surgical robot, wherein said surgical system comprises:
- a housing, comprising:
- an attachment portion configured to be mounted to the surgical robot;
- and
- a plurality of rotary drive members configured to transmit rotary motions from the surgical robot;
- an elongate shaft extending from said housing;
- an end effector extending from said elongate shaft, wherein said end effector comprises:
- a first jaw;
- a second jaw, wherein said first jaw is movable relative to said second jaw between an unclamped position and a clamped position;
- a removable fastener cartridge comprising a plurality of fasteners removably stored therein, wherein said fasteners are ejectable during a fastener firing stroke;
- and
- a drive screw configured to rotate in response to a said rotary motion;
- an articulation joint, wherein said end effector is articulatable relative to said elongate shaft about said articulation joint;
- a first closure system configured to actuate a cable in response to a said rotary motion, wherein said cable is configured to move said first jaw toward said clamped position when actuated, and wherein said cable can be actuated a plurality of times;
- a second closure system comprising a coupling member, wherein said coupling member is operably attached to said drive screw, wherein said coupling member is configured to move said first jaw toward said clamped position when actuated, and wherein said second closure system can be actuated a plurality of times;
- and
- a camming member configured to eject said fasteners from said fastener cartridge when said camming member is moved in a distal direction, wherein said camming member is not retractable after said fastener firing stroke.
