## Abstract

A bedding assembly for retention of bedding and facile remaking of a bed includes a sleeve that is configured for insertion of a mattress. The sleeve is configured to substantially cover the mattress. A first perimeter portion of a covering is coupled to a foot end and opposing longitudinal sections of the sleeve. The covering, which is substantially complementary to an upper surface of the mattress, and the sleeve define a pocket bounded by the foot end and the opposing longitudinal sections of the sleeve. A second perimeter portion, which is not coupled to the sleeve, is configured for entry of the user into the pocket. The covering is coupled to the sleeve such that the covering is positionally restrained relative to the sleeve. The covering is readily repositioned over the sleeve upon exiting of the user from the pocket.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A bedding assembly comprising:
a sleeve configured for insertion of a mattress, wherein said sleeve is configured to substantially cover the mattress;
a covering substantially complementary to an upper surface of the mattress, a first perimeter portion of said covering being coupled to a foot end and opposing longitudinal sections of said sleeve, wherein said covering and said sleeve define a pocket bounded by said foot end and said opposing longitudinal sections of said sleeve; and
wherein a second perimeter portion of said covering is not coupled to said sleeve such that said second perimeter portion is configured for entry of the user into said pocket, such that said covering is coupled to said sleeve wherein said covering is positionally restrained relative to said sleeve, such that said covering is readily repositioned over said sleeve upon exiting of the user from said pocket.
