Abstract
A work head unit that detects the rotational position of suction nozzle with first Q-axis encoder positioned facing component holding section that holds a component. With the work head unit, it is desirable to detect the orientation of component holding section at two locations: suction nozzle and syringe member.
Claims16
A work head unit comprising:
- a component holding section configured to hold a component and be rotatable around a rotational axis, and
- a detection section provided at a position facing the component holding section and configured to detect the orientation of the component holding section.
A work head unit control method for a work head provided with a component holding section configured to hold a component and be rotatable around a rotational axis, and a detection section provided at a position facing the component holding section and configured to detect the orientation of the component holding section, the work head unit control method comprising:
- (a) a step of correcting an orientation of the component holding section based on information of the orientation of the component holding section detected by the detection section.
A work head unit control method for a work head provided with a component holding section used for holding a component that includes a collecting member having a cylindrical tube section configured to collect a component that is rotatable around a rotation axis and a syringe member having a cylindrical tube section configured such that the collecting member is able to be attached to and removed from the syringe member, a detecting section configured to detect the orientation of the component holding section provided at a position facing the cylindrical tube section of the collecting member and a position facing the cylindrical tube section of the syringe member, and a control section that includes a memory section and that is electrically connected to the detection section, the work head unit control method comprising:
- (a) a step of correcting an orientation of the component holding section based on the rotational position of the cylindrical tube section of the syringe member and the rotational position of the cylindrical tube section of the collecting member acquired from the detection section.
