A new and distinct variety of apple tree named ‘Franklin Cider Apple’ characterized particularly by its fruit having a white, crisp flesh, its sweetness in taste and goodness for eating, and for its superior astringency which makes it particularly suitable for blending purposes in the production of hard apple cider.

A new and distinct variety of apple tree named ‘Franklin Cider Apple Tree’ substantially as herein shown and described, particularly characterized over known apple trees by its fruit which is characterized by its scab resistance and hardiness, its white, crisp flesh, its sweetness in taste and goodness for eating, and for its superior astringency which makes it particularly suitable for blending purposes in the production of hard apple cider.
