Abstract
A system includes a spray tool including a trigger and a sensor. The system includes a fluid regulation system including a container configured to store a coating material and a pump configured to control a flow of the coating material. The system includes a pump control system including a controller configured to change an operating parameter of the pump distributing the coating material in response to an input from the sensor. The pump control system is coupled to the fluid regulation system.
Claims20
A system, comprising:
- a spray tool comprising a trigger and a sensor;
- a fluid regulation system, comprising:
- a container configured to store a coating material;
- a pump configured to control a flow of the coating material;
- a pump control system, comprising:
- a controller configured to change an operating parameter of the pump distributing the coating material in response to an input from the sensor;
- and
- wherein the pump control system is coupled to the fluid regulation system.
A method, comprising:
- operating a valve that controls flow of a coating material in a spray tool in response to a trigger coupled to the spray tool;
- and
- operating a pump that supplies the coating material to the spray tool in response to a signal received from a sensor coupled to the spray tool.
A tangible, non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer instructions thereon, the computer instructions, when executed by a processor, configured to:
- process a signal generated in response to operation of a trigger that controls flow of a coating material in a spray tool;
- and
- operate a pump that supplies the coating material to the spray tool in response to the signal.
