Abstract
An on-vehicle battery includes a lead storage battery and a secondary battery. The secondary battery is connected in parallel with the lead storage battery. The secondary battery 14 has a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The positive electrode includes, as a positive electrode active material, a spinel-type lithium-nickel-manganese oxide. The negative electrode includes, as a negative electrode active material, at least one of graphite, soft carbon, hard carbon, and an alloy-based material containing an Si element.
Claims18
A battery comprising:
- a lead storage battery;
- and
- a lithium ion secondary battery connected in parallel with the lead storage battery, the secondary battery having:
- a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode active material including a spinel-type lithium-nickel-manganese oxide;
- and
- a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode active material including at least one of graphite, soft carbon, hard carbon, and an alloy-based material containing an Si element.
A combination comprising a battery and a generator connected to the battery, the battery comprising:
- a lead storage battery;
- and
- a lithium ion secondary battery connected in parallel with the lead storage battery, the secondary storage secondary battery having:
- a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode active material including a spinel-type lithium-nickel-manganese oxide;
- and
- a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode active material including at least one of graphite, soft carbon, hard carbon, and an alloy-based material containing an Si element.
