Abstract
There is provided an information processing apparatus. A determination unit determines whether an object is present in a predetermined place. A specification unit specifies a direction of a toe of a user who uses the information processing apparatus. A notification unit performs a notification to the user in a case where a predetermined direction of the toe is specified and it is determined that the object is present in the place.

1-6. (canceled)
An information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a sensor that detects whether an original document having a first image thereon or a sheet on which the first image is formed is present in a predetermined place;
- an image scanner configured to read the first image on the original document;
- a discrimination unit configured to analyze the first image to discriminate a type of the original document;
- a capturing unit configured to capture a second image of an area in front of the information processing apparatus;
- a specification unit that specifies each direction of one or two toes of a user captured in the second image;
- a notification condition determining unit configured to determine whether a condition to perform a notification to the user is satisfied;
- and
- a notification unit that performs the notification when the condition is satisfied,
- wherein the notification condition determining unit determines that the condition is satisfied when:
- at least one direction of the toe is in a predetermined angle range when the sensor detects the original document or the sheet, and the type of the original document is a predetermined type;
- and
- both of the two directions of the toes are in the predetermined angle range when the sensor detects the original document or the sheet, and the type of the original document is not the predetermined type.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program causing an information processing apparatus to execute a process comprising:
- detecting whether an original document having a first image thereon or a sheet on which the first image is formed is present in a predetermined place;
- reading the first image on the original document;
- analyzing the first image to discriminate a type of the original document;
- capturing a second image of an area in front of the information processing apparatus;
- specifying each direction of one or two toes of a user captured in the second image;
- determining that a condition to perform a notification to the user is satisfied when:
- at least one direction of the toe is in a predetermined angle range when the sensor detects the original document or the sheet, and the type of the original document is a predetermined type;
- and
- both of the two directions of the toes are in the predetermined angle range when the sensor detects the original document or the sheet, and the type of the original document is not the predetermined type;
- and
- performing the notification when the condition is satisfied.
An information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a sensor that detects whether an original document having a first image thereon or a sheet on which the first image is formed is present in a predetermined place and that outputs a first signal when the original document or the sheet is detected;
- an image scanner configured to read the first image on the original document and configured to output image data of the first image;
- a discrimination unit configured to analyze the first image to discriminate a type of the original document and configured to output a second signal notifying the type of the original document;
- a capturing unit configured to capture a second image of an area in front of the information processing apparatus;
- a specification unit that specifies each direction of one or two toes of a user captured in the second image and configured to output specification result information indicating the direction;
- a notification condition determining unit configured to:
- (i) receive the first signal, the second signal, the image data of the first image and the specification result information;
- (ii) determine whether a condition to perform a notification to the user is satisfied;
- and (iii) output a notification signal;
- and
- a notification unit that performs the notification when the notification unit receives the second signal,
- wherein the notification condition determining unit outputs the notification signal when:
- at least one direction of the toe is in a predetermined angle range when the notification condition determining unit receives the first signal, and the type of the original document is a predetermined type;
- and
- both of the two directions of the toes are in the predetermined angle range when the notification condition determining unit receives the first signal and the type of the original document is not the predetermined type.
