Abstract

A distributed control system for a working machine includes portable terminals for use by each consumer purchasing a working machine, by sales shops for selling the working machine to the consumers, and by a business department of a head office for selling the working machine to the sales shop and a network having at least a control support servers to which the portable terminals are connected via a wireless pathway. The portable terminals have functionality for registration of dates for a safety review, warranty start date, and initial inspection date.

A control system for a working machine comprising;

a two-dimensional code applied to the main body of a working machine. the two-dimensional code including an individual working machine identification number and a connecting-URL;
portable terminals for use by each consumer purchasing a working machine, by sales shops for selling the working machine to the consumers, and by a business department of a head office for selling the working machine to the sales shop;
and
a control support server connected through a network to the portable terminals;
the portable terminals having an operation screen including a function for reading the two-dimensional code and a function for connecting the portable terminal to the network via a wireless connection;
a) the control support server providing to the portable terminals of the consumers, the sales shops, or the business department of the head office in accordance with access via the connecting-URL included in the two-dimensional code:
a1) means for enabling registration of “a date for informing for safety” on the basis of “a confirmation of informing for safety” and to reject a transition to a next stage when “a date for informing for safety” is not registered;
a2) means for enabling registration of “a warranty starting date” on the basis of a start of the warranty and to reject a transition to a next stage when the warranty starting date is not registered;
a3) means for instructing “an advice for initial inspection” when the “execution date of initial inspection” is not yet registered even after “the initial inspection planned date” calculated on the basis of “the warranty starting date”,
a4) means for accessing a page of “information on machine” including an operation manual after the registration of “the date of informing for safety” and “the warranty starting date” and “the advice for initial inspection” is instructed,
b) the control support server providing to a portable terminal of the sales shop, means for enabling registration of “the execution date of initial inspection”;
c) the control support server providing to a portable terminal of the sales shop, means for enabling registration of “the warranty starting date”, even if the register permission term of the warranty is expired with access via a URL exclusive to the business department of the head office.
