Abstract
In an information processing apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment, a printer driver receives document data, determines whether a meta image is present in the document data, wherein the meta image in which metadata is saved in an area for storing information different from information about rendering an image, and acquires the metadata included in the meta image from the document data, in a case where it is determined that the meta image is present in the document data.
Claims16
An information processing apparatus, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors, wherein the one or more processors are configured to implement a printer driver;
- wherein the printer driver comprises:
- a receiving unit configured to receive document data,
- a determination unit configured to determine whether a meta image is present in the document data, wherein the meta image in which metadata is saved in an area for storing information different from information about rendering an image, and
- an acquisition unit configured to acquire the metadata included in the meta image from the document data, in a case where the determination unit determines that the meta image is present in the document data.
A control method for an information processing apparatus including a printer driver, the control method comprising:
- receiving document data;
- determining whether a meta image is present in the document data, wherein the meta image in which metadata is saved in an area for storing information different from information about rendering an image;
- and
- acquiring the metadata included in the meta image from the document data, in a case where the determining determines that the meta image is present in the document data.
A non-transitory storage medium storing a program for causing an information processing apparatus including a printer driver to execute a control method, the method comprising:
- receiving document data;
- determining whether a meta image is present in the document data wherein the meta image in which metadata is saved in an area for storing information different from information about rendering an image;
- and
- acquiring the metadata included in the meta image from the document data, in a case where the determining determines that the meta image is present in the document data.
