Mobile terminal and method of controlling the same

A mobile terminal, comprising:

• a touchscreen;
• and
• a controller operably coupled with the touchscreen, the controller configured to:
• display a first wallpaper of a plurality of wallpapers on the touchscreen, wherein the first wallpaper includes at least one icon,
• receive a touch input via the touchscreen for adding a first icon to the first wallpaper,
• in response to the touch input, display a reduced first wallpaper corresponding to the first wallpaper on the touchscreen, wherein the reduced first wallpaper is displayed with a plurality of wallpaper indicators corresponding to the plurality of wallpapers on the touchscreen, and
• generate a new wallpaper when the plurality of wallpapers do not have a vacancy for adding the first icon and display the new wallpaper on the touchscreen, wherein the controller is further configured to generate a new wallpaper indicator corresponding to the new wallpaper when the new wallpaper is generated.
