A non-linear optical crystal comprising:
- pyridinium represented by the following Formula (1);
- and
- 4-substituted phenylsulfonate represented by the following Formula (2a) and 2,4,6-substituted phenylsulfonate represented by the following Formula (2b).
- [In Formula (1), R1, R2, and R3 each independently represent a methyl group or an ethyl group.]
- [In Formula (2a), X represents a halogen atom, and in Formula (2b), R4, R5, and R6 each independently represent a methyl group or an ethyl group.]
