Distribution device for a hydraulic machine

A distribution device for a hydraulic machine, which device comprises an internal distributor configured to be disposed in a casing portion, the internal distributor comprising a body having an outside axial face provided with two main grooves respectively for fluid feed and for fluid discharge, and a distribution radial face, the internal distributor having distribution ducts that open out in the distribution face, the device further comprising a cylinder capacity selector that comprises a slide suitable for being moved in an axial bore the internal distributor, for connecting the distribution ducts to one or the other of the main grooves, the device further comprising a control chamber suitable for being fed with fluid to cause the slide to be moved, and at least one return spring exerting an opposing force that opposes such movement,

• the control chamber being situated at a first end of the axial bore and is closed, at an end opposite from the distribution face by a first end wall of the internal distributor, the control chamber being provided between said first end wall and a first end of the slide that faces towards said first end wall, and the return spring being disposed in a return chamber situated at a second end of the bore and closed, at the end closer to the distribution face, by a second end wall of the distributor.
