Abstract
A system includes an electronic fuel injection system of an engine, the electronic fuel injection system including an electronic governor control unit for controlling various functions of the engine.
Claims19
A system for tracking air cleaner health of an engine, comprising:
- an electronic fuel injection system of an engine, the electronic fuel injection system including an electronic governor control unit configured to:
- receive a throttle position sensor signal and a manifold air pressure sensor signal;
- compare the throttle position sensor signal and a manifold air pressure sensor signal to a determined threshold;
- and
- track air cleaner health by determining if the threshold has been exceeded.

A method for automatically learning throttle position, comprising:
- monitoring a throttle position sensor voltage signal sent by a throttle position sensor to an electronic governor control unit, the throttle position sensor voltage signal representing a position of a throttle;
- and
- saving a lowest measured value and assigning the lowest measured value to a zero percent throttle.
A system for tracking oil health for oil of an engine, comprising:
- an electronic fuel injection system of an engine, the electronic fuel injection system including an electronic governor control unit configured to:
- track engine parameters based on engine type;
- calculate oil health based on the tracked engine parameters;
- and
- display an indication of oil health.
