Abstract
Factor X/Xa variants and methods of use thereof are disclosed.
Claims30
A Factor Xa variant which modulates hemostasis comprising at least one substitution selected from the group consisting of:
- a) the Ile at position 16 in chymotrypsin numbering system is Thr or Met, and
- b) the Val at position 17 in chymotrypsin numbering system is Thr or Ser.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding a human Factor X variant, wherein said Factor X variant comprises at least one substitution selected from the group consisting of:
- a) the Ile at position 16 in chymotrypsin numbering system is Thr or Met, and
- b) the Val at position 17 in chymotrypsin numbering system is Thr or Ser.
