Abstract
The present invention relates to novel sulfoperoxycarboxylic acid compounds, and methods for making and using them. The sulfoperoxycarboxylic compounds of the invention are storage stable, water soluble and have low to no odor. Further, the compounds of the present invention can be formed from non-petroleum based renewable materials. The compounds of the present invention can be used as antimicrobials, and bleaching agents. The compounds of the present invention are also suitable for use as coupling agents.

The use composition of claim 98 further comprising a surfactant.
A hard surface cleaning use composition, a laundry cleaning use composition, or a warewash use composition comprising:
- one or more sulfoperoxycarboxylic acids, wherein said sulfoperoxycarboxylic acids comprises at least one of the following:
- or salts, thereof;
- a C1 to C4 carboxylic acid;
- a C5 to C11 carboxylic acid;
- and
- an oxidizing agent.
The use composition of claim 111 wherein said one or more sulfoperoxycarboxylic acids are present at about 10,000 ppm.
115 The use composition of claim 111 wherein said composition is in the form of a gel or powder.
