Composition of additives and high-performance fuel comprising such a composition

Diesel fuel comprising a sulphur content less than or equal to 500 ppm by mass comprising at least 5 ppm by mass of a composition of additives comprising:

• a first additive comprising at least 50% by mass of a compound A selected from partial esters of polyols and saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched, cyclic or acyclic C4 to C36 monocarboxylic aliphatic hydrocarbarbons, the partial esters being able to be used alone or in a mixture;
• and
• a second additive comprising a quaternary ammonium salt obtained by reaction of a nitrogen-containing compound comprising a tertiary amine function with a quaternizing agent, the nitrogen-containing compound being selected from:
• a) a product of reaction of an acylating agent substituted with a hydrocarbon group and a compound comprising at least one tertiary amine group and a group selected from the primary and secondary amines and the alcohols;
• b) a product of a Mannich reaction comprising a tertiary amine group;
• and
• c) amines substituted with a polyalkene group having at least one tertiary amine group.

A method for improving the performance of a diesel engine, the method comprising:

• using a diesel fuel in the diesel engine, the diesel fuel comprising a sulphur content less than or equal to 500 ppm by mass comprising at least 5 ppm by mass of a composition of additives comprising:
• a first additive comprising at least 50% by mass of a compound A selected from partial esters of polyols and saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched, cyclic or acyclic C4 to C36 monocarboxylic aliphatic hydrocarbarbons, the partial esters being able to be used alone or in a mixture;
• and
• a second additive comprising a quaternary ammonium salt obtained by reaction of a nitrogen-containing compound comprising a tertiary amine function with a quaternizing agent, the nitrogen-containing compound being selected from:
• a) a product of reaction of an acylating agent substituted with a hydrocarbon group and a compound comprising at least one tertiary amine group and a group selected from the primary and secondary amines and the alcohols;
• b) a product of a Mannich reaction comprising a tertiary amine group;
• and
• c) amines substituted with a polyalkene group having at least one tertiary amine group;
• and
• the composition of the additives improving the performance of the diesel engine.
