• X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, OD2, SD2, and NDz;
• Z is selected from the group consisting of O, S, CD3 and ND4;
• Y is selected from the group consisting of oxygen, sulfur, CD3, ND4, —N(D5)CO—, —CH2N(D5)-, —CH2N(D5)CO—, CO2, SO2, —CH2O—, —CH2S—, CO, —CON(D5)-, —SO2N(D5)-, —O(CH2)n—, —S(CH2)n—, —N(CH2)n—, —(CH2)n—, ND5, and an optionally substituted alkyl, alkene, alkyne, or heterocycle;
• D2, D3, D4, D5 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, and substituted hydrocarbyl;
• n is an integer from 1 to 10;
• A is independently selected from the group consisting of CD6 and N;
• D6 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, and substituted hydrocarbyl;
• D24 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, hydrocarbyl, and substituted hydrocarbyl;
• D25 and D26 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, —NHCONH2, —COOMe, and —CONHMe, and D25 and D26 can optionally form a cycloalkyl or heterocyclo ring;
• Dz is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen hydrocarbyl, substituted hydrocarbyl, —CODx, —CONDxDxSO2Dx, and —CO2Dx;
• and
• Dx is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, —ND4D5, or an optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, heterocycle, or aryl.
