Abstract
An abrasive article includes a body having abrasive grains contained within a bond material comprising a metal or metal alloy, wherein the body comprises a ratio of VAG/VBM of at least about 1.3, wherein VAG is the volume percent of abrasive grains within the total volume of the body and VBM is the volume percent of bond material within the total volume of the body.

An abrasive article comprising:
- a bonded abrasive body comprising abrasive grains contained within a bond material comprising a metal or metal alloy, wherein the bond material comprises a composite material including a bond phase and a precipitated phase, the precipitated phase having a composition including at least one element of an active bond composition and at least one element of the bond material.
