Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for producing biomimetic hydroxyapatite (HAp) and boron-doped HAp (B-HAp) with the support of microwave and a method for coating tissue scaffolds with HAp and/or B-HAp.
Claims19
A method characterized in that following the steps of:
- preparing a SBF (simulated body fluid) solution which comprises a Ca/P (calcium/phosphate) concentration 10 times more than mood plasma;
- adding NaHCO3 into the solution before the precipitation process;
- to exposure the solution to a microwave process and carrying out the precipitation process
- in order to obtain HAp for bone tissue repair by biomimetic method.
A method according to claim 13, characterized in that after they are cut by dies in 2 mm×9 mm sizes the tissue scaffolds are precipitated in a vacuum drying-oven within stock solutions wherein no NaHCO3 is added, it is ensured that air inside thereof is taken out and all pores are contacted with SBF solutions.
A method according to claim characterized in that the solution obtained is filtered to eliminate impurities and it is frozen at −20° C. after being poured into 24-well Petri dishes.
A method according to claim 18, characterized in that the scaffolds are transferred into 100 mL SBF and B-SBF solutions wherein NaHCO3 is added, coating is carried out with the help of microwave such that there will be 7 scaffolds/100 mL solution (SBF and B-SBF).
