A vaccine composition for transdermal administration comprising:
- an antigen,
- a cyclic dinucleotide as an immunity induction promoter, and
- a base material,
- wherein the base material carries a combination of the antigen and the cyclic dinucleotide;
- and
- wherein the vaccine composition is structured and arranged for application to the skin of a subject.
