Combination of lbh589 with other therapeutic agents for treating cancer

A combination of:

• (a) N-hydroxy-3-[4-[[[2-(2-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)-ethyl]-amino]methyl]phenyl]-2E-2-propenamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
• and
• (b) a proteosome inhibitor, wherein the proteasome inhibitor is selected from the group consisting eof aclacinomycin A;
• gliotoxin;
• PS-341;
• MLN 34 and bortezomib or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a topoisomerase inhibitor, wherein the topoisomerase inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of idarubicin, doxorubicin;
• epirubicirn, and mitoxantrone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
