A method for treating a patient with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, the method comprising administering an effective dose of gemcabene to the patient with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, wherein the patient is on a lipid-lowering therapy and is in need of further LDL-C lowering.
A method for reducing LDL-C in a patient with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, the method comprising administering an effective dose of gemcabene to the patient with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, wherein the patient is on a lipid-lowering therapy and the patient is in need of further LDL-C lowering.
