Abstract
The present invention relates to a coupling-releasing device for airbag actuator cable 1 for vehicles having two or more wheels, said airbag being contained in a wearable jacket or coat. The coupling-releasing device of an airbag actuator cable 1 according to the present invention comprises at least one coupling unit 2,2′ adapted to be installed on board a vehicle and actuator means 4,4′,4″ operatively connected to said at least one coupling unit 2,2′ to operate said coupling unit 2,2′ between a first closing configuration adapted to retain said end of said airbag actuator cable and a second opening configuration adapted to release said end of said airbag actuator cable.

A coupling-releasing device of an airbag actuator cable for vehicles with two or more wheels, comprising at least one coupling unit adapted to be installed on board a vehicle and actuator means operatively connected to said at least one coupling unit to operate said at least one coupling unit between a first closing configuration adapted to retain said end of said airbag actuator cable and a second opening configuration adapted to release said end of said airbag actuator cable.
device according to the preceding claim, wherein said at least one coupling unit comprises at least one supporting block adapted to be installed on board a vehicle and at least one hook moveable between a first closing position adapted to retain said end of said airbag actuator cable and a second opening position adapted to release said end of said cable.
The device according to the preceding claim, wherein said at least one moveable hook is provided with closing means adapted to take said at least one moveable hook to the closing position in automatic manner when said end of said airbag cable is inserted by the user in said at least one coupling unit.
The device according to the preceding claim, wherein each of said at least one coupling units comprises a pair of counterpoised moveable hooks hinged so that the ends of each pair of said hooks may move reciprocally towards and away from each other, said pair of hooks being maintained in closing position by a contrast spring.
The device according to the preceding claim, wherein said actuator means comprise an actuator operatively connected to said pair of moveable hooks.
The device according to the preceding claim, wherein said actuator means comprise at least one elastic actuator and at least one wire connected to said moveable hooks and can exert a traction force sufficient to overcome the action of said contrast spring on said moveable hooks, thus taking said hooks to the opening position.
The device according to the preceding claims, further comprising signaling means of the operating condition of said at least one coupling unit.
The device according to the preceding claim, wherein said signaling means of the operating condition of said at least one coupling unit comprise visual signals and auditory signals.
The device according to the preceding claim, further comprising signaling means of the operating condition of said at least one coupling unit.
The device according to the preceding claim, wherein said signaling means of the operating condition of said at least one coupling unit comprise visual signals and auditory signals.
The device according to the preceding claims, further comprising signaling means of the operating condition of said at least one coupling unit operatively connected to the ignition key block of the vehicle.
