Motor and Motor Control Method

A motor comprising:

• a rotor;
• a source;
• rotation element to rotate the rotor by magnetic force produced with a current supplied by the source and to generate by converting rotational energy of the rotor into electrical energy;
• current quantity measuring element to measure the current supplied to said rotation element;
• and
• control element to increase the current by the generation of said rotation element without supplying the current from the source so as to maintain a regenerating operation if the current measured by said current quantity measuring element falls below a lower limit for maintaining the regenerating operation.

A motor control method for controlling a motor comprising a rotor, a source, and rotation element to rotate the rotor by magnetic force produced with a current supplied by the source and to generate by converting rotational energy of the rotor into electrical energy, the motor control method comprising:

• measuring the current flowing through said rotation element;
• judging whether the measured current falls below a lower limit for maintaining a regenerating operation;
• and
• increasing the current by the generation of said rotation element without supplying the current from the source so as to maintain the regenerating operation if it is judged to fall below the lower limit in the second step.
