Abstract
The objective of the present teaching is to provide a porous material including carbon nanohorns. The porous material includes carbon nanohorns and has a predetermined three-dimensional shape.

A method for producing a sintered and porous body containing carbon nanohorns,
- the method comprising:
- preparing a molding body containing a carbon nanohorn produced by arc discharge in a fluid;
- and
- heating the molding body under pressure to sinter and make porous the molding body.
