Abstract
Provided are gel particles each having a three-dimensional crosslinked structure including at least one bond selected from a urethane bond and a urea bond, the gel particles each including: a polymerizable group; and a functional group that generates radicals by irradiation with active energy rays, a photosensitive composition containing the gel particles, an ink composition, a method of producing water dispersion of gel particles, and an image forming method.

Gel particles each having a three-dimensional crosslinked structure including at least one bond selected from a urethane bond and a urea bond, the gel particles each comprising:
- a polymerizable group;
- and
- a functional group that generates radicals by irradiation with active energy rays.
A method of producing water dispersion of gel particles, comprising:
- obtaining an emulsion, by mixing and emulsifying any one oil phase component selected from an oil phase component including a trifunctional or higher isocyanate compound having a functional group that generates radicals by irradiation with active energy rays, a polymerizable monomer, and an organic solvent, an oil phase component including a trifunctional or higher isocyanate compound having a functional group that generates radicals by irradiation with active energy rays, a trifunctional or higher isocyanate compound having a polymerizable group, and an organic solvent, an oil phase component including a trifunctional or higher isocyanate compound having a polymerizable group, a functional group that generates radicals by irradiation with active energy rays, a polymerizable monomer, and an organic solvent, and an oil phase component including a trifunctional or higher isocyanate compound having a functional group that generates radicals by irradiation with active energy rays, a trifunctional or higher isocyanate compound having a polymerizable group, a polymerizable monomer, and an organic solvent, and a water phase component including water;
- and
- gelling the emulsion by heating.
