## Abstract

An incubator 1 includes: a transparent hood 3, covering an accommodating space 10 configured to accommodate a baby; an illumination light source 14, disposed so as to avoid disturbing observation of the baby through the transparent hood 3; and an emitting member 13, fixed to the transparent hood 3, and configured to emit light from the illumination light source 14, so as to illuminate the accommodating space 10.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An incubator, comprising:
a transparent hood, covering an accommodating space configured to accommodate a baby;
an illumination light source, disposed so as to avoid disturbing observation of the baby through the transparent hood; and
an emitting member, fixed to the transparent hood, and configured to emit light from the illumination light source, so as to illuminate the accommodating space.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The incubator of claim 1, wherein the emitting member is disposed inside the transparent hood.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The incubator of claim 1, wherein the emitting member is disposed at an upper part of the transparent hood.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The incubator of claim 1, further comprising:
a guiding member, fixed to the transparent hood, and configured to guide the light from the illumination light source to the emitting member.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The incubator of claim 4, wherein the guiding member is disposed at a side part of the transparent hood.

### Claim 6 (depends on 4)

The incubator of claim 4, wherein the guiding member is transparent.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The incubator of claim 1, further comprising a body, disposed under the accommodating space, wherein the illumination light source is fixed to the body.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The incubator of claim 1, wherein
the transparent hood is configured to be openable, and
the illumination light source is configured to be turned off when the transparent hood is opened.
