A blender assembly includes a base and a blender assembly pivotally mounted on the base such that the blender pivots in only a single plane.

- a base;

- a blender assembly pivotally mounted on the base such that the blender pivots in only a single plane.
A blender assembly comprising:
- a base having a curved pivot surface;
- and
- a blender assembly mounted on the base such that the blender assembly is pivotable on the pivot surface.
A blender assembly comprising:
- a base;
- and
- a blender assembly pivotally mounted on the base,
- wherein one of the blender assembly and the base has an engagement surface adapted to engage the other of the blender assembly and the base and restrict the blender assembly from pivoting with respect to the base.
