Abstract
The system and corresponding process includes a system for producing a mechanical image of original audio source media and a system for encoding the mechanical image information into a digital file. A processing system recovers the mechanical image information from the digital file at a receiving end. Audio processing is used to produce the original audio source material without the standard losses associated with digital encoding of audio material
Claims18
A system for maintaining quality of audio recordings, comprising:
- a mechanical production system for producing a mechanical image of original audio source media;
- a processing system for encoding the mechanical image information into a digital file capable of being transmitted or stored;
- a processing system for recovering the mechanical image information or from digital information in the digital file;
- and
- audio processing circuitry to produce the original audio source media without standard losses associated with digital encoding.
A system for maintaining quality of audio recordings, comprising:
- a reproduction system for producing a mechanical image of track geometry of a master recording of an original source media;
- and
- an analog to digital encoder system to convert the mechanical information to a distributable digital file;
- and
- a decoding mechanism at a receiving end capable of producing a printed analog copy for playing of the original audio.
A system for maintaining quality of audio recordings in the form of an audio track of a movie film, comprising:
- an image system for imaging an audio track portion of the film;
- an encoder for converting the audio track information into digital information for transmission or storage;
- and
- a digital to analog processing system for receiving the digital information and producing an audio without modification and having the same quality as on the film track.
A process for maintaining quality recordings, comprising:
- a mechanical image of original source media;
- and
- encoding the mechanical image information into a digital file capable of being transmitted or stored;
- and
- recovering the mechanical image information or from digital information in the digital file;
- and
- producing the original audio source media with audio processing circuitry without standard losses associated with digital encoding of audio material.
