A method of making the compound of Formula II
- comprising irradiating the compound of Formula I
- with narrow band frequency light from a lamp selected from the group consisting of an excimer DBD light source and an LED at a wavelength from about 295 nm to about 320 nm;
- wherein X is selected from the group consisting of OMe, OEt, OPr, OCH2CH2O and OCH2C(Me)2CH2O.
A method of making Steroid 2:
- comprising irradiating the compound of Formula I
- with narrow band frequency light from a lamp selected from the group consisting of an excimer DBD light source and an LED, at a wavelength from about 295 nm to about 320 nm;
