Abstract
The present invention regards a device for assembling and/or disassembling a support ring (SR) within or from a tyre (T), such device including a base, a column or pillar rising from said base and a grip and release group and/or an extraction group.
Claims29
A device for assembling a support ring within a tyre comprising:
- a base;
- a column or pillar rising from said base;
- a support arm mounted on said column;
- a group for gripping and releasing a support ring which is articulated to said support arm in order to be angularly movable with respect thereto, said grip and release group including two engagement ends of respective portions of said support ring as well as means for approaching and moving apart said engagement ends along a direction of elongation-shortening between a first engagement position, wherein said group is able to stretch a support ring along said direction so as to impart to said support ring a substantially elongated or ellipsoidal configuration and a second release position for a support ring.
Device for disassembling a support ring from a tyre comprising:
- a base;
- a column or pillar rising from said base;
- a group of extraction of a support ring from a tyre, said extraction group including an approach-move apart component articulated to said column in order to be angularly movable with respect thereto as well as at least one belt or gripper component supported at one constrain end of said approach-move apart component and intended to be wrapped around or enclose a portion of a support ring, so as to be able to drag it out of the inner channel of a tyre.
A machine for treating a tyre comprising a second column and a support group of said tyre mounted on said second column, said support group of a tyre comprising claw or gripping or confinement means for engaging the bead of a tyre, so as to define a zone of gripping or support of a tyre facing upwards and towards the sides of said support group and defining a zone free or devoid of claw means facing the bottom of said support group.
A method for disassembling a support ring from a tyre, comprising the following steps:
- assembling said tyre on a support group with said tyre in substantially vertical position, i.e. with rotation axis horizontal or slightly tilted with respect to the horizontal, such that said support ring is laid down on its own lower portion and thus a space remains between the upper portion of said tyre and the upper portion of said support ring;
- driving the relative movement of said support group and of a constrain component carrying a belt or gripper component so as to bring said belt or gripper component in proximity to said upper portion of said support ring and then wrapping or enclosing said upper portion of said support ring with said belt or gripper component;
- and
- backwards driving the relative movement of said support group and of said constrain component, such that said belt component drags said support ring out of the inner channel of said tyre.
