The back ears each include a fastening tab that can be releasably engaged with a landing zone on the garment-facing side of the article.
Claims20
An absorbent article having a wearer-facing side, a garment-facing side, a longitudinal axis extending from a front edge to a back edge and a transversal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and extending from a first longitudinally-extending side edge to a second longitudinally-extending side edge;
- the absorbent article comprising:
- a topsheet on the wearer-facing side;
- a backsheet on the garment-facing side;
- an absorbent core comprising an absorbent material, wherein the absorbent core comprises at least one longitudinally-extending channel substantially free of absorbent material and wherein the absorbent material comprises superabsorbent polymers;
- a stretchable back waistband extending transversally adjacent the back edge of the article;
- a pair of stretchable back ears each having a fastening tab, and
- a landing zone on the garment-facing side of the article adjacent the front edge of the article, wherein the fastening tabs can be releasably engaged with the landing zone.
An absorbent article having a wearer-facing side, a garment-facing side, a longitudinal axis extending from a front edge to a back edge and a transversal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and extending from a first longitudinally-extending side edge to a second longitudinally-extending side edge;
- the absorbent article comprising:
- a topsheet on the wearer-facing side;
- a backsheet on the garment-facing side;
- an absorbent core comprising an absorbent material, wherein the absorbent core comprises at least one longitudinally-extending channel substantially free of absorbent material;
- a stretchable back waistband extending transversally adjacent the back edge of the article;
- a pair of stretchable back ears each having a fastening tab, and
- a landing zone on the garment-facing side of the article adjacent the front edge of the article, wherein the fastening tabs can be releasably engaged with the landing zone;
- and
- wherein the absorbent core comprises a core wrap around the absorbent material, the core wrap comprising a top side and a bottom side, and the top side and the bottom side are bonded through the at least one channel.
A package comprising a plurality of the absorbent articles, wherein the package has an In-Bag Stack Height of from about 70 mm to about 110 mm and wherein each absorbent article comprises:
- a wearer-facing side, a garment-facing side, a longitudinal axis extending from a front edge to a back edge and a transversal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and extending from a first longitudinally-extending side edge to a second longitudinally-extending side edge;
- the absorbent article comprising:
- a topsheet on the wearer-facing side;
- a backsheet on the garment-facing side;
- an absorbent core comprising an absorbent material, wherein the absorbent core comprises at least one longitudinally-extending channel substantially free of absorbent material;
- a stretchable back waistband extending transversally adjacent the back edge of the article;
- a pair of stretchable back ears each having a fastening tab, and
- a landing zone on the garment-facing side of the article adjacent the front edge of the article, wherein the fastening tabs can be releasably engaged with the landing zone.
