Abstract
The invention relates to a thread rolling tool for rolling or repairing a thread with a tool body (12) a profiled roller (36) that is mounted on the tool body (12), and at least one counter roller (14.1) that has a counter roller rotational axis (D14.1) and is mounted on the tool body (12). According to the invention, it is recommended that the profiled roller (36) and/or the at least one counter roller (14) is mounted so that it is axially displaceable.

A thread rolling tool for rolling and/or repairing a thread, comprising:
- (a) a tool body,
- (b) a profiled roller that is mounted to the tool body, and
- (c) at least one counter roller, which
- has a counter roller rotational axis and
- is mounted to the tool body,
- wherein
- (d) the profiled roller and/or the at least one counter roller is mounted so that it is axially displaceable.

A device for rolling a thread on rotating work pieces, comprising:
- a bearing block;
- a mount that carries first and second thread rollers, wherein the mount is arranged in the bearing block so as to be rendered flexible and adjustable,
- wherein the mount is braced on a first side against an adjustable fixed stop and on an opposite second side against an adjustable flexible stop, and
- wherein the first thread roller is allocated to the adjustable flexible stop and is arranged to be axially displaceable and the second thread roller is arranged to be axially displaceable in the mount.
