A method for producing an electroluminescent device which comprises a layer, the layer formed by:
- spin coating an electroluminescent composition of luminescent metal ions or luminescent metal ion complexes embedded within an organic matrix, wherein the organic matrix comprises one or more of small organic molecules and discrete organic molecules on a cured layer, wherein the luminescent metal ions or luminescent metal ion complexes comprises a transition metal, wherein the metal ion complexes have a phenyl (C6H5), a biphenyl, a terphenyl or quarterphenyl group.
A method for producing an electroluminescent device which comprises a layer, the layer formed by:
- printing an electroluminescent composition of luminescent metal ions or luminescent metal ion complexes embedded within an organic matrix, wherein the organic matrix comprises one or more of small organic molecules and discrete organic molecules on a cured layer, wherein the luminescent metal ions or luminescent metal ion complexes comprises a transition metal, wherein the metal ion complexes have a phenyl(C6H5), a biphenyl, a terphenyl or quarterphenyl group.
A method for producing an electroluminescent device which comprises a layer, the layer formed by:
- spin coating or printing an electroluminescent composition in a solvent, wherein the electroluminescent composition comprises luminescent metal ions or luminescent metal ion complexes embedded within an organic matrix, wherein the organic matrix comprises one or more of small organic molecules and discrete organic molecules on a cured layer, wherein the luminescent metal ions or luminescent metal ion complexes comprises a transition metal, wherein the metal ion complexes have a phenyl(C6H5), a biphenyl, a terphenyl or quarterphenyl group.
