Abstract
A display device includes: a display module including a display panel which displays an image; a main driving unit on a side of the display module; a first auxiliary driving assembly hinge-connected to a first side of the main driving unit; and a second auxiliary driving assembly hinge-connected to a second side of the main driving unit opposite to the first side thereof. The main driving unit includes: a fixing bracket attached to the side of the display module; a first main actuator hinge-connected to a first side of the fixing bracket; and a second main actuator hinge-connected to a second side of the fixing bracket opposite to the first side thereof.
Claims20
A display device comprising:
- a display module comprising a display panel which displays an image;
- a main driving unit on a side of the display module;
- a first auxiliary driving assembly hinge-connected to a first side of the main driving unit;
- and
- a second auxiliary driving assembly hinge-connected to a second side of the main driving unit opposite to the first side thereof,
- wherein the main driving unit comprises:
- a fixing bracket attached to the side of the display module;
- a first main actuator hinge-connected to a first side of the fixing bracket;
- and
- a second main actuator hinge-connected to a second side of the fixing bracket opposite to the first side thereof.
A method of curving a display device, comprising:
- respectively hinge-connecting a first auxiliary driving assembly and a second auxiliary driving assembly at opposing sides of a main driving unit,
- respectively attaching the hinge-connected first auxiliary driving assembly, second auxiliary driving assembly and main driving unit to first, second and main portions of a same side of a display module comprising a display panel which displays an image;
- and
- with the first auxiliary driving assembly, the second auxiliary driving assembly and the main driving unit respectively attached to the first, second and main portions portions of the display module, actuating the first auxiliary driving assembly and the second auxiliary driving assembly to change locations of the first and second portions of the display module with respect to the main portion thereof,
- wherein the main driving unit comprises:
- a fixing bracket attached to the main portion of the display module;
- a first main actuator hinge-connected to a first side of the fixing bracket;
- and
- a second main actuator hinge-connected to a second side of the fixing bracket opposite to the first side.
